  This monastery is the most beautful and peaceful place I have ever been in my entire life. My brother has taken on the habit and lifestyle of the Benedictine order and now possesses this sense of pure joy that cannot go unnoticed when you see him. This goes for all the brothers as well. They are so selfless in giving their lives to God through work and prayer and it is such a privilege to be able to visit and witness this. They also make amazing coffee, so if you are a coffee fan, you should order some. You will thank yourself when you taste it. God Bless.

  Stumbled across this little piece of heaven on earth about 12 years ago, a life changing experience, real men who gave up the world to serve Our Lord. Something that I needed to experience then and as often as I can now. It is the closest thing to hanging out with the Apostles you can experience on earth. Ora et Labora, they live it everyday. May God continue to bless your extraordinary religious community tucked away in the beautiful Gila Wilderness. Thank you for being an incredible example of our faith to me and my family and all who meet you. Brothers I think of you every morning and offer up a prayer and thanksgiving for you as I start the day with a steaming cup of your Abbey Roast Black & White!!!

  Beautiful monastery. In spite of what the modernist below writes(Maria/aelion soundings from FL) it's amazing. Those people despise tradition and pass it off under false pretexts of "obedience".

  This Monastery (SSPX) does NOT have canonical status in the Catholic Church and does not legitimately exercise any ministry in the Church. They have no authority to minister to the Catholic faithful because such authority can only be given to them by lawful church superiors. To this day they have no lawful superiors. They do not have the permission nor are submitted to the Bishop of the Diocese in which they reside.
  
  Conversely the The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) is a Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right canonically established by Pope St. John Paul II in 1988. The particular charism and mission of the Fraternity is to offer the Sacred Liturgy, including the Holy Mass and the Divine Office, as well as the sacraments, in all of their traditional solemnity, according to the Latin liturgical books of 1962. The Fraternity's name denotes thanksgiving, filial love, and loyalty to the supreme Pontiff, who encourages their growth, as well as the brotherly unity in Christ which the priests strive to have characterized in their lives and work.
  
  This Monastery (SSPX) is in direct disobedience (even though one of their vows is Obedience, which is a perversion of true obedience) to the supreme Pontiff. Whereas the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) enjoys FULL Communion with the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
  
  This Monastery practices the COUNTERFEIT of True and Faithful Catholic Tradition.
  
  These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 2 Cor 11:13-14
