  DOn't come to Silver City for the Mexican food. We have been everywhere in town and have not had 1 good or even mediocre meal. They are all very POOR! You'd think that in the "land of manana" that they could manage to put together something good. I am so disappointed in New Mexican food in general, it's peasant food at best! In saying that, we love "the brewing co." that's really not a brewing co. but they have solid and consistent good food, fast, friendly service and it's (gasp!) cheap! We love their pizzas, but the best is the philly cheesestake sandwich (they have a philly pizza also). It's oohy gooey cheesy with green chili and bell peppers, really tender steak meat ad fresh bun.
